The data comes from Open-Meteo, an open weather service that combines data from multiple national meteorological agencies and updates several times per hour.
Your browser only asks for location permission after you click "Use my location", so it can show the weather for exactly where you are. You can always skip this and search for a city by name instead.
No weather forecast is ever perfectly accurate, especially for days further out in the week. The 1-3 day forecast is usually the most reliable; check back closer to the day for the most up-to-date numbers.
